Connecting Nunavik - Intranet Infrastructure and Content Development

This project completes the first phase of a three-village intranet in Arctic Quebec by
connecting the Regional Hospital in Puvirnutuq, and at least ten key organizations in
Kuujjuaq. This includes the Kativik Regional Government, Regular Sector School and
Adult Education, Kativik Regional, Health and Social Board, the Regional Ungava
Hospital, Kativik, Regional Development Council, and the Corporation of Northern
Villages of Kuujjuaq.

An intensive training program, targeting each organization individually, will help each
develop the applications necessary to provide services more efficiently and avoid
costs by substituting enhanced communications for travel.
